I would like to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for the care and support given my Mum. It has been a pleasure to have met such caring and dedicated people.
Our services are designed for both the elderly person and also people with disabilities who wish to maintain their independence and have a better quality of life. All tasks are undertaken by our team of Support/Homecare Workers who have all had an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and who undertake continuous training to help them deliver the highest quality care to each of our service users. However, past experience also shows us that matching the personalities of individuals are just as important.
Dignity and respect are at the heart of the service we deliver. We focus on the ability of the individual, not on the disability. All our staff take part in Dignity Workshops to help them recognise how to deliver a service which focuses around protecting the dignity of the service user. As an organisation we embrace the 10 Point Dignity Challenge as part of the Dignity in Care campaign. We have already achieved our Bronze Award status and are now working towards the Silver Standard.
We ask our service users for regular feedback in order that we maintain a relevant and high quality service.
It's time to raise awareness, challenge stigma, and support those living with Dementia and the people who care for them. A small act of kindness, a conversation, or simply taking time to listen can make a huge difference.
1 in 3 people in the UK living with Dementia do not have a diagnosis.
91% of people affected by Dementia say there are benefits to getting a diagnosis.
Around 166,000 people in the UK are currently living with Parkinson's Disease - and someone is diagnosed every 20 minutes. The condition is most common in people over 50, but 1 in 16 people diagnosed are under 50.
Parkinson's is a progressive neurological condition that can affect movement, balance, sleep, speech and everyday activities. Symptoms can vary greatly from person to person, which is why personalised care and support is so important.
Together we can raise awareness, understanding, and support for everyone affected by Parkinson's.

We recently asked service users and their families to share their experiences with us - and we're incredibly grateful for the kind words and honest feedback we received.
Here's what some of you had to say:
✨ "As A's family we could not wish for any better care for him. It is a comfort to us to know he is being so well cared for"
✨ "A great and helpful company with excellent staff. H really enjoys her time with the girls!"
✨ "They all stand out and all need complimenting"
✨ " Mum is very happy, nothing to improve! Keep up the good work."
Feedback means everything to us. It helps us continue to grow, improve, and provide the highest standard of care possible.
From all of us at Independent Care Link, we wish our clients, families and carers a joyful and peaceful Easter. Whether it's sharing a smile, a warm meal, or a little chocolate treat, it's the small moments that matter most 💙
